Located right on the coast near the French border, Plopsaland Belgium is the flagship park of the Plopsa chain. Before being purchased by Studio 100, the park operated as Meli Park, named after honey, and you can still find touches of its bee themed history throughout the park and in the main shop.
Studio 100 created the Plopsa brand by combining the names of two of their most beloved characters: Kabouter Plop and Samson. Today, Plopsaland Belgium stands as the crown jewel of the Plopsa parks, which now span Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.
Plopsaland Belgium Roller Coasters
Plopsaland Belgium features seven roller coasters, with the standout attraction being The Ride to Happiness by Tomorrowland. This Mack Rides extreme spinning coaster offers multiple launches, five inversions, and incredible airtime moments, all while rotating freely throughout the ride. It’s consistently rated among the top coasters in the world by enthusiasts.
Supporting coasters include Heidi The Ride, a Great Coasters International wooden coaster and Anubis: The Ride, a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter with an incredibly punchy launch.
